Even though we want our children live happy lives, we know that life has its ups and downs. Sometimes things will be difficult for them. To live a successful life, our children have to be able to manage the negative side of the emotional spectrum. We may wish or otherwise, but negativity is part of life. It’s almost certain that at times our children will feel a certain degree of anxiety.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Raise an Anxiety Free Child? – Click Here to Learn How ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

However sometimes things get out of balance and the child develops an anxiety disorder, which is a fearful way of approaching everything in life. With an anxiety disorder, the anxiety a child experiences is way out of proportion to the situation. It is definitely not a good thing.

As parents, one of our responsibilities is to help our children learn to handle difficult emotions gracefully and effectively without developing problems that might haunt them into adulthood. Of course anxiety disorders affect adults as well as children. The fact that these problems have become so common in kids is a sad commentary on our world.

To begin with a definition, anxiety is a feeling of tenseness or nervousness or even fear. It may be associated with something going on in the world or there may be no obvious cause. Anxiety is a child’s reaction to a situation, not something that takes over or comes on them from the outside.

In some situations anxiety is a reasonable response. For example, no one is surprised child feels a little anxious their first day at a new school or going away to camp for the first time.

However anxiety can become so severe that it in effects incapacitates a child. They can’t participate in life normally. When that happens, anxiety has become an anxiety disorder.

Although there are several indicators of an anxiety disorder, a very significant point to consider is whether of not the anxiety is so severe that it is interfering with the child’s normal functioning. If a child is so anxious they can’t live normally, we need to do our best to help them.

The difficulty for someone raising a child is that because they’re so closely involved with the children you can be difficult to maintain an objective perspective. Talking about the situation with close family members, professionals such as the child’s pediatrician and teachers, and close friends can help the parent maintain objective perspective.

It’s also good to learn how to raise an Anxiety Free Child. Although Rich Presta’s program is powerful enough to help a child already has an anxiety disorder, it really is good parenting advice that can prevent one from developing in the first place.

The Anxiety Free Child Program empowers parents to help their anxious child eliminate the excessive negative thoughts and feelings which can be so harmful to young person. As far as I know, it’s the first program that focuses exclusively on helping children with anxiety. But who developed this program? Exactly who is Rich Presta and how did he develop the Anxiety Free Child Program?

Let’s be clear about this from the beginning. Mr. Presta is not a physician or psychologist or other health care professional. Someone who believes they can only learn something from such professionals should probably look elsewhere.

However, Mr. Presta does have qualifications that I believe make him uniquely qualified to put together the Anxiety Free Child Program. Namely, he suffered from debilitating anxiety throughout his childhood and well into his adulthood. He eventually was able to overcome it, but only after years of suffering. Because of that, he has devoted himself to doing his best to help others avoid what he had to go through.

Here’s part of his story in his own words:

“ I wish I could tell you that when I look back at my childhood I have good memories of carefree days filled with fun, but I don’t. To be honest, I’m glad my days as a child are over, but what I desperately want is for your child to be different – to NOT have the same story as me. I want them to laugh and smile and live passionately, free from anxiety that’s holding them back and costing them their childhood.

I eventually overcame my anxiety, but it took way too long and by the time I did the “best years” of my life were long gone. I made it my life’s mission to share all that I learned about how to overcome anxiety, worry, and fear so no one has to suffer needlessly like I did for so many years. My programs have been used successfully for many years by individuals and professionals all around the world and have been showcased in…”

Mr. Presta has developed an international reputation as an expert on anxiety and panic attack based on his programs developed for adults. Now, he has focused his efforts on a program to help children.

His passion for this project is immediately evident. As you go through the material in the program you can almost feel his burning desire to prevent any other child from suffering as he did.

I like to think that some good can come out of almost every bad situation. Perhaps the good that came from Mr. Presta’s anxious childhood is this program that is already helping thousands of children reclaim their happy childhood.

Is your child struggling with anxiety?

Are they spending a lot of time worrying about things? Do they seem more anxious than most kids?

Of course it’s normal for anyone, especially a young child, to feel a little bit anxious in new or uncertain situations. Unfortunately though, many kids develop an actual anxiety disorder. If this isn’t recognized and addressed, it can have lifelong consequences. This Anxiety Free Child Review looks at a program that promises to help parents help their kids overcome anxiety and have a happy childhood. Does the program live up to the promises?

What Is the Anxiety Free Child Program?

The anxiety free child program is a multimedia package that educates parents about the nature of anxiety disorders and the best way to help their child overcome them.

The foundation of the program is the manual. This is an in-depth guide that explains exactly what your child is experiencing it, what might have caused it, and, most importantly, how to conquer. The manual is written in clear, easy-to-understand language. The layout is exceptionally clean, attractive and easy to read.

There is also a complete audio version of the manual so you can listen to the program in your car, on your MP3 player or where ever it’s most convenient for you. Since I like books on tape and spending time in my car listening to educational material, I greatly appreciated these recordings

Though much of the program is designed to coach parents on how to help their children, some of it is specifically for the children to use themselves. These recordings are called the Child Anxiety Relaxation and Imagery System (CARIS). This exclusive audio series help your child practice and develop the skills they learn as they go through the anxiety free child program.

Although I haven’t used these recordings with a child as yet, they struck me as very supportive and relaxing. My expectation is that they would significantly increase the speed at which a child becomes skillful at quieting their anxious and worried mind.

Rounding out the core of the program are recordings of a remarkable series of interviews with 8 of the most recognized and respected experts currently working in the field of psychology. These fascinating interviews are loaded with nuggets of information from internationally recognized practicing psychologist, physicians and researchers. I’ve followed Dr. Daniel Amen’s writings (“Change Your Brain, Change Your Life” and others), so it was a real treat to hear the interview with him.

One of the things that I liked most about the Anxiety Free Child Program is what’s not there. Specifically, this program does not recommend medications as the mainstay of treatment for anxiety in children. This is not to say that medications can’t be helpful in some situations. They can be. But it’s my opinion that people turn to medications too easily and too frequently.

The Anxiety Free Child approach depends on giving children a mindset and teaching them skills that will help them deal effectively with anxiety throughout their life.

Another thing that I really appreciate about this program is that something the parent does with their child. Not only will it be very gratifying for the parent to help their child lead a happier life, the parent’s involvement gives the child a very powerful message about how much they are loved and cared. That is a wonderful thing to do for child in and of itself.

Anxiety Free Child Review Conclusions

The Anxiety Free Child Program is a multimedia instructional program designed specifically to help parents help their children overcome severe anxiety and even panic attacks. It is based on sound premises, is well-organized, and is easy-to-follow. I believe it is an excellent resource. Any parent concerned about an anxious child owes it to their child to consider this program further.
